Customizable approach, to fit you and your family’s needs.
Pregnancy, birth & postpartum doula support fills the gaps left in the modern maternity standard of care.
As a doula serving your family, I learn what you need so that I can best support you and your unique birth. Once hearing you are pregnant, this journey inward and of discovery begins. You ponder your options, research, and tackle the endless amount of information and choices. It’s okay not to know the answers yet, but the best place to start is with many options to make informed choices that best fit you and your family. You choose what is suitable for you.
When we work together, my primary focus is on building a strong relationship with you. This relationship is crucial, especially during labour when you cannot express your needs openly. By fostering trust, you can feel safe and comfortable in my care, allowing me to intuitively understand your needs and provide the best support during this significant transition into parenthood.
As your doula, I aim to serve and support you wherever you choose to give birth. I can help you with both home births and hospital births. Understanding the environment you want to birth in begins by creating a relationship through prenatal and bodywork sessions. Birth happens anywhere, anytime and anyhow, and as your doula, it is my priority to be there with you during this transition for you and your family- regardless of location and logistics.
"Birth Matters... It matters because it is the way we all begin our lives outside of our source, our mother's bodies. It's the means from which we enter and feel our first impression of the wider world. For each mother, it is an event that shakes and shapes her to her innermost core. Women's perceptions about their bodies and their babies' capabilities will be deeply influenced by the care they receive around the time of birth."
